Camp Steps is San Diego’s premier summer camp for kids and teens who experience cognitive disabilities such as aspergers, high functioning autism, PDD-NOS, MDD, CDD, social anxieties, or other disabilities. Camps Steps is known for providing personalized attention and works hard to build and maintain an environment in which campers feel like they can be themselves, open up, make friends and most importantly have fun! We have a great tennis and sports camp available in the morning where kids and teens can enjoy fun recreational activities and games. In the afternoons we have a great adventure camp available with exciting community outings to help inspire and develop friendships. Our qualified counselors have many years of mentoring, teaching and counseling experience supporting individuals who experience disabilities. The abilities of each camper are promoted to ensure they have the best summer camp experience ever!

Adventure Camp Structure:
After drop-off individuals will gather and we will prepare them for the activity and structure of the day and then depart in small groups to each event. Each week starts with a beach day where campers can get to know our mentors. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are our San Diego field trip days and Friday we end the week with a beach party.
